Have you ever felt like you’re supposed to have life all figured out by now? Like you should know exactly where you’re going, what you’re doing, and how to balance everything perfectly?

If so, you’re not alone.

But here’s the truth: No one has it all figured out. And the good news? We’re not supposed to.

There’s so much pressure to have a clear plan for every stage of life. Whether it’s career, motherhood, faith, or even simple hobbies, we often feel like we should have a roadmap.

But life isn’t a checklist—it’s a journey.

And sometimes, the most beautiful parts of life come from the unexpected. It’s okay not to know what’s next. Trust that God does. I often find myself itching for more or something new, and honestly, I usually don't have to look hard to find it. God cares about the simple pleasures of our hearts and has something beautiful on the horizon of the unknown.

We often think growth happens when we reach our goals. But the real transformation happens in the in-between—the waiting seasons, the uncertain moments, the times when we’re learning and stretching. Don’t rush through these seasons.

They’re where God is doing His best work in you. I can look back on so many seasons that felt so... unnecessary, in the moment. But looking back on them, wow, they were needed to get me to where I am today! I am actually going through an in-between stage right now with my health. I was diagnosed with Colitis three weeks ago, and I am still working through it and figuring out what I can and can't eat, what triggers it, how to reduce my stress levels, and how to live without coffee and dairy! I find myself asking God, "Why?" so often. I know it will all make so much more sense when I have overcome it and can help others when they're struggling with the same thing. I am learning and growing so much in this in-between season.

One of the biggest reasons we feel behind in life is because we’re constantly comparing ourselves to others. Guilty! Social media makes it so easy to see someone else’s highlight reel and feel like we’re falling short. But your journey is yours. You’re not late. You’re not behind. You’re exactly where you need to be. That is so important to keep in mind when someone else's life looks picture perfect, and yours doesn't. Another thing to keep in mind is that they didn't get where they are overnight (maybe they did, and if so, amazing!).

Consider how far you have come in 1 year, 5 years, even 10 years. You should be so proud of how far you've come! So much growth happens in such a short amount of time. That is how we are able to keep tackling our dreams, and create new dreams that are ours. So don't let someone else's "dreams coming true" stop you from continuing your journey.

When we feel uncertain, it’s easy to let fear take over. What if I fail? What if I make the wrong decision? What if I’m not good enough? But God doesn’t ask us to have it all figured out—He asks us to trust Him. A huge fear of mine is teaching others something that I'm passionate about, and then failing at it myself. Some people call it "imposter syndrome". And while I don't think it's fair to call ourselves imposters, faith means stepping forward even when we don’t see the whole path. It means believing that God’s plan is greater than our own.

Instead of constantly worrying about what’s next, what if we focused on today? The Bible reminds us not to be anxious about tomorrow, because today has enough to focus on (Matthew 6:34). The only moment we’re guaranteed is right now. Let’s make the most of it by being present, grateful, and trusting that everything will unfold in God’s perfect timing.

You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to take the next step, trust the journey, and know that God is guiding you exactly where you’re meant to be.

The topic of being present and appreciating the moment I’m currently in has been heavy on my heart for a while now. This is a great reminder that we’re right where we’re supposed to be.
